On June 18-22, 2024 NTEC took part in the second international telecommunications forum Night International Telecom Forum, which was held in St. Petersburg.
As part of the execution of NTEC’s marketing strategy in terms of providing international services for the transit of international data traffic with an emphasis on stimulating demand – attracting transit, through the implementation of a flexible, competitively oriented pricing policy for international partners, Andrei Dron, Chief Commercial Officer at NTEC, spoke at the plenary session: "International traffic transit. Ways of development in a multipolar world", on a topic of "Transformation of transit routes".
His presentation, which later led to an active discussion, demonstrated NTEC’s marketing and pricing strategy, indicated trends in the communications market taking into account economic and geopolitical features, accentuating the advantages and attractiveness of transit opportunities of the Republic of Belarus.
Considering the current foreign Internet traffic growth trends, it is worth mentioning that the participants showed great interest in the forum session: "Development of traffic exchange points and CDN in modern conditions." In order to attract the attention of Russian providers to the placement of CDN servers on NTEC sites, taking into account the geographical, technological and geopolitical advantages of the Republic of Belarus, Vitali Karbovski, Deputy Director at NTEC, made a presentation on the topic: "Development of CDN in the Republic of Belarus, influence of the Russian Internet on the Republic of Belarus", which provoked active discussions among Russian colleagues with proposals for the development of cooperation.
