The NTEC N@mele$$ Team Won the Standoff Cyber Battle on PIEF-2025!

From June 18 to June 20, the Standoff international cyber battle was held at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PIEF), which brought together the best cybersecurity specialists from around the world. 28 teams from 21 countries took part in the competition, which were to reveal and investigate chains of attacks modeled on real threats - in the infrastructure of two key industries: oil and gas and logistics.

Cyberbattle with maximum approximation to reality

The Standoff format allows participants to work in conditions as close to reality as possible: a carefully recreated IT infrastructure, pre-prepared attack scenarios and Positive Technologies tools for investigation - all this turns the competition into a real practice of investigating cyber incidents.

This year, participants investigated 7 successfully implemented attacks, competing in speed, completeness of analysis and effectiveness. In three days, the teams demonstrated their skills, strategies and responsiveness, accumulating invaluable experience that they can apply in real work.
